New Trier made a valiant attempt to pull off an upset on Friday, Feb. 15, but a combination of injuries that left the Trevians without two of the best players in the Central Suburban League, live ball turnovers that burned them for eight breakaway baskets and a 15-point third quarter scoring spree by Evanston’s Lance Jones were too much to overcome.
