Taco Vida’s chile en nogada ($5) was featured as the restaurant's taco of the week to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day on Sept. 16. The ground beef and pork taco is topped with a grilled poblano pepper, a walnut cream sauce and pomegranate seeds and served on a tri-colored tortilla.
The pork al pastor taco ($3.50 each) features pork topped with onion, cilantro and roasted pineapple.
The tuna taco ($5.50 each) is ginger-marinated grilled ahi tuna topped with a chili soy aioli, cucumber, red onion, carrot and cilantro slaw.
